Around Christmas time, syncan created a ytmnd called "Tom Cruise Needs Therapy". The site showed Tom Cruise's face photoshopped on to actor Jake Gyllenhal from the movie Donnie Darko, holding a knife in a house during a thunderstorm. The song "Frontier Psychiatrist" accompanies the site including the main excerpt "That Boy Needs Therapy".
The original site lead to a major fad. There are 3 variations to this fad:
- Other people's faces will be photoshopped on to Jake's face, with some minor image/sound editing.
- The original scene from Donnie Darko may be remade/recreated.
