Around Christmas time, syncan created a ytmnd called "Tom Cruise Needs Therapy". The site showed Tom Cruise's face photoshopped on to actor Jake Gyllenhal from the movie Donnie Darko, holding a knife in a house during a thunderstorm. Scientology crosses can be seen on the windows as the lightning flashes. The song "Frontier Psychiatrist" accompanies the site including the main excerpt "That Boy Needs Therapy".
The original site lead to a major fad. There are 3 variations to this fad:
- Other people's faces will be photoshopped on to Jake's face, with some minor image/sound editing.
- The original scene from Donnie Darko may be remade/recreated.
- Pictures of people going crazy, set to the music.
The song was included on Volume 8 of the YTMND Soundtrack.
