+ | I'm glad I discovered this article. I've been thinking about theories myself and trying to deduce how ratings come out the way they are. I ended up believing that the idea of the ytmnd far outweighs how much effort/skill there was in the image/sound edits. I also reasoned that something serious mixed with something funny makes up the best ytmnd idea. Look at the top rated sites, most of them have that. There are PCF/Sylvester's sites that find humor in war movies, Improviser found humor in the news, and so forth. You may be thinking that these ideas are obvious. I'm glad I discovered this article. I've been thinking about theories myself and trying to deduce how ratings come out the way they are. I ended up believing that the idea of the ytmnd far outweighs how much effort/skill there was in the image/sound edits.
