Hmm another Type of Fad Aside From the fad being alive or dead

Ghost fads? ex: The drastic decrease in NEDM sites but the fad contninues to return to YTMND and haunt the front page (not that its a bad thing)--MarcusTheMartin 21:25, October 27, 2006 (CDT)

Some fads are immune from dying? I sure hope not. Users beating the same dead horse is one of the biggest problems around here.-improviser

They think it's a fad. It's gonna go away. It's not going away, LOL-ochobobo

Dead fads have nothing new and creative added to them, while some fads have very few sites made every so often, but are interesting and worthwhile. I haven't seen a creative or funny nedm site in a long time, aside from a few remixes, so I'd classify it as a dead fad. People definitely still make sites with dead fads, it's just that none of the sites are any good or live up to the former glory. BTape 01:00, June 28, 2007 (CDT)

The list is far from containing all fads that are actually dead. If you look in Category:Fads, there are about 200 fads that are listed and most of them are long forgotten.

http://ytmnd.com/search?q=NEDM&o=%7C0%7Call%7CD%7CD%7C0%7C - everyday NEDM sites are made --Moheevi 12:55, July 9, 2007 (CDT)

- every other day sites using NEDM's popularity to pass out scat porn are made --MarcusTheMartin 13:29, July 9, 2007 (CDT)

The definition doesn't say the sites have stopped being made, simply that none of the new sites made are popular. When people abandon a fad, it's essentially dead. BTape 16:20, July 9, 2007 (CDT)
