uncle philTMND sites first began appearing after the original site was created by the user dasmooseon Jan 13th, 2008. uncle philTMND sites are based on the sitcom character Phillip Banks. Although some claim that the fad was a forced effort by some parties, its popularity caught on instantly. Particularly, Uncle Phil's love for mashed potatoes is realized in the excentuated quote "Pillowy mounds of mashed potatoes." Keaton made the awesome watermark, LOL and ROFL.
